Caedicia Victris lived in the Ager Falernus area. She was an anphoras seller. She decided to add the wine Falerno in her anphoras and to commercialize the wine by her own brand. Thanks to Caedicia, all the Mediterranean area, could appreciate the Falerno del Massico wine during the Roman Empire. She is considered the first business woman of the history.
The olfaction is deeply developed. It is huge, powerful but also elegant and graceful. It can be considered a fusion of opposite senses. Starting from broom, magnolia and white rose like flowers, the wine explodes in exotic fruit, mango and papaya taste. The persistence of taste gives some notes of honey and citrus fruits at the end
Grape harvest by hand during the third decade of October. The grapes are pressed softly and the alcoholic fermentation starts by indigenous yeasts. After 6 days, the wine is decanted in barriques when the alcoholic fermentation is carried out completely. After 12 months in French barriques, the wine is decanted in tanks and it is bottled after some weeks without filtration.
